Window installation

Impact Windows Installation
Palm Beach Hurricane Windows typically uses trained-by-us installers. With our goal of top quality installations we recruit and train the best carpenters to successfully perform our projects. We apply all of our expertise and knowledge from years of experience to all of our window installations this includes items such as opening alterations, concrete frames reinforcement, re-framing or reconfiguring existing openings.

Time frames – what you can expect
You will be advised at the moment you place your order of the time frame of installations, including time to produce custom-sized windows.

Will the installations be intrusive?
When no alterations are necessary during the replacement there are a few things that may have to be done prior to the installation:

  • Removal of window treatments by the client.
  • Removal of any security devices from the windows.

Some items are done during installation:

  • Removing or cutting some siding.
  • Removal of window sills.
  • Removal of stucco around a window in cases where the window is embedded into the stucco.

Each installation job may vary depending on the siding and construction style along with any changes being made to the layout of the windows.

Building Inspections
Every window and door installation will require inspection by an inspector in the municipality of the job. The inspector makes sure that the windows and doors are installed in full accordance with the Florida Building Code and the Notice of Product Acceptance of the windows. Palm Beach Hurricane Windows, Inc is responsible for coordinating and passing these inspections.
